I got a job!!

Well things are definitely working out pretty quick here. Silvia, a friend of Nuria´s, is the one who´s sister is opening a new restaurant and said that her sister is interested in having me wait tables there. Only thing is that it´s not opening for a little while, but then she told me about the job she has now. Pretty much it´s selling alarm systems to people in and around Barcelona. Nothing worth moving out here for good but definitely nice for while i´m here (don´t worry mom!) So she got me an interview for that yesterday in the morning. So I thought it went horribly bc I was only in there for 5 mins and everyone else was in there for at least 20 mins. Turns out it went great bc afterwards I was down at a cafe with Nuria and Silvia having a coffee and they called her within 10 mins to ask me if I could go on an observation that day! It went really good, but today I asked them if it was alright if i waited to start after Chad and Billy come here so that I´ll have enough time to figure everything out and work without distractions and that. They were totally cool with it, so as of right now I have a job! They said if I want I can come in whenever or just wait. In the meantime i´m gonna try to see if I can wait some tables for some extra cash so I´ll fill you in. The Festival del Merced starts this Thursday and goes thru Sunday, and it´s pretty much a huge festival with parades and stuff for kids during the day, and lots of stuff for us big kids to do at night. I´ll be sure to fill you all in on all of that in a few days. Well the University computer lab is closing and since i´m not even a student i don´t want to push my luck :) I´ll try to get back up here in the next couple days, I think tomorrow´s gonna be spent at the beach but maybe after that I can stop back by to give some more updates . . .
